Borgini Jersey are a family owned fabric manufacturer based in Como, Italy. At Mocean Fitness, we use fabrics provided by Borgini for both the zip-up tracksuit tops and the ladies sports bra taken from The Earth Collection. Borgini carry both the Global Recycled Standard certification and the Oeko-Tex 100 certification, which they have held for over 25 years. They are also compliant with the United Nations regulation known as REACH and run on 100% renewable electricity.
Miti spa is a fabric manufacturer based in Bergamo, Italy. Miti Spa holds Bluesign certification, an internationally recognized certification which guarantees sustainable and safe working conditions for employees. Miti Spa also holds SA8000 Standard certification, the world’s leading social certification program which provides a framework for conducting business in a way that is fair and decent for workers and to demonstrate their adherence to the highest social standards. Miti Spa also holds Oeko-Tex 100 and Global Recycled Standard certification. At Mocean fitness we use fabrics from Miti Spa in our Men’s T shirts and vest as part of the Earth Collection.
Maglificio Alto Milanese, or MAM, is a fabric producer based in Milan, Italy. We use fabrics from MAM in our mens shorts as part of the Earth Collection. MAM holds Oeko-Tex 100 and Global Recycled Standard, as well as GOTS, the global textile standard for ecological and social responsibility.
This one, we’re proud of. We don’t manufacture in the far east, or anywhere we can’t guarantee good working conditions, equal rights and fair pay. That’s why we chose to partner with London based designer to create The Earth Collection. This partnership means we can meet the people who make our activewear and visit the facilities to see the conditions they work in. Fashion Manager ensure fair wages and working conditions for their team and they also open their design studio twice a month for pre-arranged visits.
